My nan suffered from dementia in the last 2 years of her life and it completely changed her. It's like the dementia ripped her personality out of her, it was horrible to see. Sadly she passed away late August this year and I'm taking part in the Memory walk to try to stop dementia from ruining any more lives like it did to my beautiful nan.
